Lindenwood University welcomes three mew members to the Board of Trustees, a group of talented individuals who serve to advise and counsel the university in strategic and intentional ways.

The spring academic calendar is being adjusted and classes will begin on Tuesday, January 19. This pushes back the start of the spring semester by one week. Spring break has been eliminated from the calendar to reduce travel away from campus. There will be no classes on Good Friday, April 2. The semester will conclude as scheduled on May 7. A decision about spring commencement will be made March 1.

Announced last week, Lindenwood University has adopted its newest intercollegiate athletics team and will now support an eSports program. Brad Wachler, Lindenwood Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, shared that the eSports team will compete as part of the student life sports offerings.

Lindenwood University has begun accepting applications for the 2021-22 academic year and is excited to announce scholarship opportunities for prospective students planning to enroll for Fall 2021.

Lindenwood University partnered with Francis Howell School District to support student learning. Dr. John Porter, President of Lindenwood University, and Scott Myers, Director of Development, presented a check for the purchase of ten mobile hotspots to Dr. Nathan Hoven, school district superintendent.

Lindenwood University and the city of St. Charles remembered Lou Brock at a memorial service held on campus at the Lou Brock Sports Complex Saturday morning.

The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2019-20 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards on Thursday afternoon. Lindenwood Athletics had 188 recipients of the prestigious award, leading the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and finishing third in all of NCAA Division II.

Lindenwood University is proud to announce a partnership with ITEN, the IT Entrepreneur Network. Molly Hudgins, interim dean of Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship shared this announcement in a schoolwide meeting, in anticipation of the fall 2020 semester. As a new division of Lindenwood University, ITEN will expand its programming and provide opportunities for Lindenwood students to gain real experiences in the tech industry and engage with leaders in the field.

Dr. Chad Kerksick, associate professor of exercise science and director of the Exercise Performance and Nutrition Laboratory at Lindenwood University, has published his 100th peer-reviewed manuscript.
